Dear Mr. Thorne:
4 Enclosed please find two export license annlications (XC001242 and XB001243) from Safety Light Corporation requesting authorization to export disnersed tritium to all countries excent Cuba, Kampuchea, florth Korea and Vietnan.
5 Application XB001242 requests 45,000 curies (15,000 ci/yr for three years) to allow for the export of long distance markers containing 120 curies ner device for the purpose of evaluating and testing by the ultinate consignees.
The applicant will apply for additional snecific licenses for the export of large quantities of long distance markers if orders materialize.
Application XB001243 requests 600,000 curies (200,000 ci/vr for three years) to cover tritium contained in self-luminous devices, accelerator tarcet devices, gas chromatograph detector fails and other similar devices which contain uo to 25 curies of tritium oer device.
Also attached are letters which contain information pertinent to these requests.
