of your proposed activities, I agree that a specific license issued pursuant to 10 CFR Part 40 is not required.

You should be sure that you have systems in place to assure that your posses-sion of thorium will not exceed the quantities specified in Section 40.22 of 10 CFR 40. Also please note that introduction of thorfum into articles other than l

" lamps for illuminating purposes" might require specific licensure.
