Mr. Campbell Rich 4626 Southeast Pilot Avenue Stuart, Florida 34997 Re: In the Matter of Florida Power and Light Company (St. Lucie Plant, Unit No. 1)

Docket No. 50-335 OLA

Dear Mr. Rich:

The purpose of this letter is to memorialize our tele-phone conversation yesterday. At the outset of the discussion, you confirmed that you had received the supplement I transmitted on November 10th updating "Licensee's Response to Intervenor's First Set of Interrogatories to Licensee." That supplement identified (1) each person expected to be called by FPL as an expert witness at the hearings and (2) the subject matter and substance of FPL's testimony.

During the conversation you, in turn, informed me that a supplement to "Intervenor's Response to Licensee's Inter-rogatories" had not yet been prepared. You indicated that you were aware of your obligation in this regards but that, as yet, you had not obtained any witnesses. You indicated further that you would be concentrating on lining up witnesses over the next week or two; and that, accordingly, you hoped to be in a posi-tion to supplement your July 6th response to Licensee's inter-rogatories sometime within that period. I noted that the infor-mation you would be providing in the supplement was important, and that it should assist FPL considerably in the preparation of testimony, whi:h is now underway.
