SUBJECT:
1999 Regulatory Roundtable On May 13,1998, several of our regulators participated in a Regulatory Roundtable meeting at the West Valley Demonstration Project (WVDP). The meeting provided a status of the vitrification project and various environmental issues ofinterest to the attendees. We would like to continue using this as a forum to keep agency management informed of site activities and issues.
We are suggesting the next Roundtable be held June 16,1999, but are flexible based on your availability. A draft agenda is enclosed for your review and input. Please contact Elizabeth Lowes of my staff regarding your availability and any comments on the agenda or additional information you would like to be covered.
A response by May 14,1999, would be greatly appreciated. Elizabeth may be reached at (716) 942-4930.
