14 Diablo Canyon Stay Request.
In this paper, the Commission is 15 being asked to act on an order which responds to application 16 from the Sierra Club and the San Louis Obispo Mothers for 17 Peace for a stay of the effectiveness of a staff issued i

18 license amendment allowing a licensee to re-rack the spent 19 fuel storage pools at the Diablo Canyon.
l 20 All Commissioners have approved an Order which 21 denies the request for action on a stay by the close of 22 business June 18, 1986, and grants an expedited consideration 23 of the matter by providing other parties an opportunity to 24 respond to the stay request.
25 The NRC Staff will be directed, or is directed, to 4

have a response to the Intervenors' application for a stay in 2
the hands of the Secretary on or before the closc of business 3
Wednesday, June 25, copies to be served on intervenors' 4
counsel by next day express mail or courier.
