SUBJECT:
DISPOSITION OF ALLEGATION An allegation board comprised of the undersigned individuals met in the Region V office on June 16, 1986, to consider the referenced potential allegation.
The board determined that:
Investigation of this allegation by OI was terminated in accordance with R. G. Marsh's memorandum dated May 23, 1986.
The information in the OI Report of Inquiry can be transmitted to the licensee for followup in accordance with R. G. Marsh's memorandum dated June 10, 1986. This transmittal should specify that the licensee's investigation include interviewing the welding examiner to determine who else was helped in qualification tests, and include an evaluation by the licensee of the impact on plant welds.
The allegation will continue to be closed until completion of the licensee's investigation or start of construction and an Open Item will be established to follow the licensee's resolution.
