s (SAPLlr asking 'us to examine: a Licensing Board ruling denying its motion to amend the transcript of a prehearing conference held on March 25, 19d6.
SAPL claims that a portion of what took place during the proceedings is not included in the transcript.
To preserve our jurisdiction to rule on the petition we directed the Licensing Board to I
ensure the presersration of all stenographic notes and other memorials -- specifically the notes and tapes of the official stenographic reporter -- with regard to what was said on.or off the record during the course of the

prehearing conference.1 In accordance with the direction of the Licensing Board, the reporting company has retained the stenotype notes which the reporter had delivered to the 2
company.
To aid our disposition of the petition before us, we direct the official reporter to advise us, in an affidavit, whether the official transcript at pp. 2098-2099 contains all the information contained in the stenotype notes.3 7f it does not, the reporter shall also provide us with a transcript of the stenotype notes, along with an affidavit explaining the reason for the discrepancy.
Whether or not the official transcript and the stenotype notes are identical, the reporter shall state, by affidavit, whether, to the best of her recollection, pages 2098-2099 are complete and accurate.
Such material shall be furnished to us by no later than close of business Monday, June 30, 1986.

The Licensing Board indicated that the official reporter simultaneously produces both a stenographic paper tape and a digital tape (i.e., a magnetic cassette tape for use with a computer) but that, in accordance with standard company practice, the digital tape is ordinarily destroyed once the " notes" are checked against the first " read out."

The reporter shall indicate whether, in this case, the HIgital tape has been destroyed.
