Dear Mr. Paquin:
Certificate of Compliance No. 6601 for the Model No. CNS 8-120A package expired on April 1, 1999. Accordingly, use of the package under the General License provisions of Subpart C of 10 CFR Part 71 or under the provisions of 49 CFR 173.471 is terminated, in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 71.52, this package was previously authorized to transport Low Specific Activity (LSA) radioactive material. However, Section 71.52 expired on April 1,1999; consequently, the certificate cannot be renewed. LSA packages and their use are i
