Dear Ms. Garde:
As noted in Mr. Robert Martin's May 21, 1986 reply to your letter of May 9, 1986, your discovery request for "an accounting of any meetings with TUEC which were not formally noticed, the dates of these meetings, the subject of more meetings, and the attendees at the meetings since September 1, 1985" was referred to me for response.
Mr. Martin's letter already informed you that the meeting conducted in March, 1986, was between Region IV management and senior nuclear utility executives from utilities located in Region IV, for the purpose of discussing " matters of general interest not involving any matter particular to TUEC."
I am informed by Region IV that, since September 1, 1985, no meetings between TUEC and the Region IV technical staff of the type described in the "Open Meetings and Statement of NRC Staff Policy" have been con-ducted.
Consequently, there is no documentation relevant to your request which can be provided.
As you are aware, Region IV technical staff have participated in meetings announced by the Comanche Peak Project, NRR; your. letter acknowledges CASE's attendance at such meetings.
These meetings, however, are beyond the scope of your request.
