Dear Mr. Adams,

As per your telecon today we are resutrtitting the same material FAXED to you earlier. Please let us know if there is additional material you need on the charcoal filter systen.

The following is the information requested on the filter we propose to use.

1. Barneby-Cheney Fact Sheet on Activated Carbon Type 787. We plan to use this type because its inpregnation aids in trcpping iodine ccmpounds.
2. %e filter itself is Model FD-11 as shown in Fig. 1 in Appendix II of our Dec 22, 1987 sutrnission.
3. The housing itself (that containt the above filter, blower and two baffles that seal against moisture) is about 2 x 2 x 4 ft. long.
4. Fig.1.3a is an elevation sketch of the reactor rocan that will house the charcoal filter. Sketch 2 is a plan view showing the approxinate location of the filter housing and its exit duct.
5. ne blower will be sized to provide a ncaninal 500 cfm with the 20 ft duct and elbows.
