Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 2 (THI-2)
Operating License No. OPR-73 Docket No. 50-320 THI-2 Organization Plan Revision 19 Attached for PC review and approval is Revision 19 to the THI-2 Organization Plan. The revision reflects a proposed charge tt, the TMI-2 Site Operations Department resulting from the incorpoIation of the Decontamir ition Section into the Waste Management Section. As a result of this chang, the Decontamination Section would not show on the Organization Plan.
This proposal reflects a reasssssment of tre current work scope of the TilI-2 Decontamination program. The majority of the remainirr; THI-2 decontamirution activity is not expected to occur until transition to facility Mode 2.
Additionally, since the activities peformed by the Decontamination Section are closely related t1 Waste Management activities, it is appropriate that this section f all under the cognizarre of the waste Maragement organization.
- Thas, it is anticipated that this reorganization will result in a more efficient ard ef fective use of resources in stoport of the remaining waste maragement and cleanup activity at THI-2.
Per the reouirements of 10 CFR 170, an application fee of $150.00 is enclosed.
