Dear Mr. Kane:
In response to your letter of April 10, 1986 (W. F.
Kane, NRC, to S. L. Daltroff, PEco) concerning allegations of use of controlled substances at Limerick facility during its construction period in 1981, our investigation reveals no substantiation of the allegations.
Of the five individuals who were identified by Region I, only one left the construction site under less than favorable i
conditions and this was a discharge due to absenteeism.
A review of the records of PECo Claims-fiacurity revealed one reported incident of controlled substance abuse at the Limerick construction site) during 1981.
This incident involved the use of i
marijuana in the parking lot.
The individual, who was a member of the construction forces, was dismissed.
