Compilation of graphs which indicate the hours of inspection by the NRC per facility for all the nuclear plant facilities in the United States.
Such data is needed for the years 1981 through 1986.
If the above documents cannot be located in the national office, they may be located in the regional office for Region III.

TEco has agreed to develop a Regulatory Improvement Program (RIP).
Mr. Shafer and his people vill aset with TEco before the end of November to work out the first draft of this RIP.
2.
The first higher management level meeting on the RIP will be the first or second week in January. 1984 After this teating, the licensee vill formally submit the RIP to the NRC.
3.
Mr. Davis and Mr. Stolz vill converse by telephone on November 7. 1983 to discuss the strategy regarding info n ing Connissioner Gilinsky of the proposed actions for upgrading TEco's performance at Davis-Eesse.
4 Mr. Shafer and his staff vill perfors brief write-ups on the folicving Commissioner C111nsky concerns:
1, 3. 5. 11. 12. 13. 14. and 15. NRA vill prepare writeups on items 2, 4, 6. 7. 8. 9. and 10.
Mr. Shafer may also prepare written cescents for items 7. 9. and 10.
nose short write-ups will be prepared by November 9.1983 so that we may f ax then to NR.R for their review before they are used as a basis for discussion with Cosmissioner Gilinsky. Likewise NRA vill provide their write-ups to R1!!

It is our goal to develop a RIP which can be accomplished in no more than a two year period.
ne RIP will identify areas which need improvement and vill identify the necessary actions in each area to bring about this improve =ent.
ne actions will have scheduled dates associated with them.
We vill meet with the licensee at least bi-monthly to discuss the

Mr. Shafer will resolve with NU the adequacy of the location of the SR0s at Davis-lesse with respect to the new rule requirement which will be effective on January 1. 1984 Based on consents made at the Novester 4 aseting it appears that the licensee believes he has the Resident Inspector's agreement with the licensee's position on this matter.
ne tatter needs to be pursued with NRA since the licensee's position may not be consistent with NRC requirements.
