STAFF REQUIREMENTS - MEqTIRG WITH ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFEGUARDS (ACRS) ON GESSAR-II, 2:00.P.M., THURSDAY, JUNE 5, 1986, COMMISSIONERS' CONFERENCE ROOM, D.C. OFFICE (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE)

The Commission met with the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) to discuss ACRS views, which were expressed in a January 14, 1986 letter to the Commission on the GESSAR-II BWR/6 Nuclear Island Design for future plants.

The Chairman indicated his intention to circulate a memorandum to Commissioners on approaches for Commission involvement in approval of standard plant designs.

There were no requirements for the ACRS at this meeting.
