FISCAL YEAR 2000 CHARGE FOR NRC SERVICE
Dear Sir:
As you are aware, the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) performs services regarding nuclear-powered warships upon request of the United States Navy.
Section 3, " Funding" of the " Memorandum of Understanding Between the United States Navy and the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission" (MOU), contains a provision for adjustment of the charge to the Navy for such services.
Based on our evaluation NRC will charge a flat rate of $373.00 for each service performed during fiscal year (FY) 2000.
In accordance with the terms of the MOU, this letter is an appendix to the MOU. Your acceptance of this appendix will be indicated by your memorandum to NRC providing the required fiscalinformation discussed in Section 3 of the MOU. This fiscalinformation is required before any services for FY 2000 would be performed.
