AND CABOT-REVERE, PENNSYLVANIA SITES
Dear Dr. Brown:
- Enclosed arc materials furnished by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for work under Task Order #3, under Area 3 of JS131. Specifically, the following items are provided:
e Decommissioning Plan for the Reading site Radiological Assessment Report for the Reading site e
o Characterization Reports for the Reading site
-e Decommissioning Plan for the Revere site Radiological Assessment Report for the Revere site e
Radiological Subsurface Sampling Report for the Revera site o
I am also enclosing a copy of the task order issued with NRC Form 173. According to the task order, you are asked to provide, by May 14,1999, a schedule for completing the work up through developing a report on your preliminary findings. Because of the NRC's delay in issuing the task order, it may be difficult to meet this target date. Please let me know if you will be unable to meet this target date, and when a schedule can be provided.
