,At 1025 on 4/8/99, the Plant Shift Superintendent was notified that a security infraction had occurred on 4/7/99 in C-331. It was determined that three uncleared construction employees were not properly escorted because the assigned escort was sleeping. The uncleared personnel were without an escort for 15 to 20 minutes. They were not in an area where they had access to any classified j
information. No compromise of classified information occurred.
This event is reportable as "any infractions, losses, compromises, or possible compromise of classified informatba or classified documents not falling within 10CFR95.57(a)". It is being logged per 10CFR95.57(b)(Exemption).
The NRC resident inspector has beer, notified of this event.
