50-277 and 50-278 Subject 2 ADJUSTMENT TO PROPOSED IMPOSITION OF CIVIL PENALTY On November 9,1988, EN 88-96 informed the Comission that a civil penalty in the emount of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000) would be issued to Philadelphia Electric Company.
Subsequent to the issuance of this EN, additional mitigation was considered erpropriate and the amount of the civil penalty for item I. A was reduced by 50% due to the licensee's identification and reporting of the events. This resulted in e total civil penalty in this case of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) instead of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000) as previously stated.
It should be noted that the licensee has not been specifically informed of the enforcement action. Due to this revision of the EN, the schedule of issuance j
