1 of 1 MONTHLY OPERATING ACTIVITIES - MARCH, 1986 HIGHLIGHTS:

The reporting period began and ended with the reactor in Mode 1 at 90% rated thermal power.

Gross electrical generation for the month of March was 161,500 MWE.

SUMMARY

03-06-86 At 0958, #13 Circulating Water Pump tripped on thermal overload.

03-07-86 At 2354, #13 Circulating Water Pump tripped on thermal overload.

03-10-86 At 1012, No. 1 Boric Acid Transfer Pump was declared operable.

It had been declared inoperable on 02-27-86 at 1512, due to high vibration and because it failed to develope acceptable discharge pressure, f

M-1 FMO-211, Motor Operated Isolation Valve for Auxiliary Feedwater j

to #1 Steam Generator would not open from the Control Room or l

the Hot Shutdown Panel. Auxiliary switches.in a control panel I

were cleaned and adjusted and the valve tested satisfactorily.

C&I-l Replaced Dual Bistable Model #63 U-BC-OHCA-F for 1PB-526A/B that was found out of specification while performing surveillance test procedure.

Calibration and surveillance tests were per-formed to verify operability.

4 C&I-2 EMD-463, Flow Control Valve in the Post Accident Sampling System would not operate. Replaced defective valve with new valve.
