EXTENSION OF COMMENT PERIOD ON DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT -
DECOMMISSIONING OF HUMBOLDT BAY POWER PLANT UNIT N0. 3 On April 23, 1986 the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a Draft Environmental Statement (DES) for decommissioning of the Humboldt Bay Power Plant, Unit No. 3 and provided copies to you. The comment period which was due to expire on June 16, 1986 has been extended for 60 days to August 15, 1986 as requested by a number of individuals. On June 6, 1986 a notice of this extension of comment period was sent to the Federal Register for publication (copy enclosed).
