The General Electric Company has received notification from the Department of Energy that funding during the Fiscal Year 1999 to convert the General Electric Nuclear Test Reactor (NTR) from HEU fuel to LEU fuel will not be available.
A copy of the DOE's notification is attached and is submitted to fulfill the requirements of 10CFR50.64.
