SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT, APPLICATION DATED OCTOBER 10, 1988, RE EXTENSION OF LICENSE
Background
On October 10, 1988, CE submitted en amendment application requesting a 1-year extension of Materials License No. SNM.33. The current license expires on December 31, 1988.
Discussion By letter dated September 30, 1988 CE notified the NRC of a plan to expand and revitalize the Hematite facility. The extension is requested to permit CE time to complete revitalization activities, and upon completion of these L
activities, setait a renewal application which describes the revitalized facility and authorizes the expanded operations. To acccm odate this amendment request, Condition 4 is revised as follows:
