The recomendation to e.nre f requently update control charts will be followed. ( ntrol charts will be updated quarterly.

The three previous months of control charts for frequently d m e analyses and the twelve previous montns of control charts infrequently cone analyses vill be kept together in the b.

The recoceendation to use control limits of two standard deviations vill be followed. The control liaits vill be set at two standard deviations and any set of data points approaching one of the two control limits vill be evaluated.

c.

The recomendation to set the control chart center line to the cean value rather than the true value vill be followed. The control chart center line vill be set at the mean value and the mean value vill be apdated when the control charts are updated.

d.

The recoenendation to put corrents on the logsheets rather than in a separate file vill be followed. This vill be done l

by implementing a cou ent sheet with each control chart and the s1parate file vill be eliminated. Each coment on the co= ment sheet will hs.ve a reference number that will j

correspond to a number by a data point on the control chart.

j e.

The recom endation to have control charts on all quantitacive analyses vill be imples.ented by expanding our control chart program. The expansion vill include the analyses recomended by EFRI to have control charts as listed in their Preliminary I

Design Cuidelines for Laboratory Quality Assurance /Ouality control. Control chart limits vill be initially estimated for i

I new control charts and when the control limits are updated they will be set at two standard deviations, i
