Dear Congressman Gregg:
Your letter of March 1,1987 to Chairman Zech has been referred to me for response. You indicated that in a February 17, 1987 letter to you, State Representative Weddle raised the question of the feasibility of emergency entombment of Seabrook if it should ever he required.
You requested the NRC to provide you the response to the points Mr. Weddle makes.
Since Mr. Weddle has requested the same information in his letter dated February 17, 1987 to Chairman Zech, I'm enclosing a copy of our response to Mr. Weddle's questions which should provide the information you seek.
