Revision 5 By application dated August 25, 1988, Amersham Corp. requested that the expiration date of Certificate of Compliance No. 9126 be extended to May 31, 1989. Amersham has requested the extension to provide sufficient time to submit a consolidated application for renewal of the certificate for the full 5-year term.

The staff concludes that the statements of the original application, as supolemented, provide sdequate documentation of the packaging to permit the requested extension.
