This is in response to your letter, dated September 30, 1986 (reference No. LA 86-74), under which you submitted Reiision 2 of your Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan (FNMCP), pursuant to the requirement of 10 CFR 74.31(b)(1). We have completed our review of your revised FNMCP, and have identified a few areas that need additional clarification, as listed in the enclosure to this letter.
Should you have any questions concerning our listed comments, please call either Ray Jackson or Don Joy of my staff (301-427-4757 and 301-427-4756, respectively). We do not anticipate that you will have any difficulties or problems in responding to our comments / concerns, but in the event you do, we are also available for a meeting to discuss issues in more detail.
We recommend a target date of February 15, 1987 for your submittal of the necessary revised pages to make your FNMCP fully acceptable.
We have determined that the enclosure to your LA 86-74 letter, dated September 30, 1986 (i.e., your revised FNMCP submittal), contains information of the type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d). Accordingly, pursuant to section 2.790(d)(1), such information is deemed to be commercial or financial within the meaning of 10 CFR 9.5(a)(4) and shall be withheld from public disclosure unless subject to the provisions of 10 CFR 9.12.
