Enclosed is the NRC Staff's profiled direct testimony and exhibits for various subcontentions of Intervenors Rorem, et al. Amended Quality Assurance Contention.
No prefiled direct testimTnyls yet available for the following Subcontentions:

10.C,10 E,11.C,12.11,12.I and the summary testimony of Messrs. Little and Gardner.
Direct testimony addressing the above contention items will be filed over the next few days.
Consistent with the agreement which Mr. Miller indicated to you in his April 11, 1986 letter, the parties have agreed that there will be a day for day extension with respect to the obligations of the other parties to file motions to strike on the Staff's profiled direct testimony on the items.
It also has been agreed that the above contention items would be heard towards the conclusion of the evidentiary hearings.
This agreement was accepted by Judge Grostman by telephone on April 7, 1986.
In addition, pending a decision by the Licensing Board on contention items which are the subject of motions for summary disposition, no direct testimony is being filed by the NRC Staff on those issues at this time.

the Staff may offer the deposition testimony of certain individuals.
The Staff will consult with the other parties regarding an appropriate means of providing designations and counter-designations of the depositions to the Licensing Board.
