Dear Dr. Baer:
Certificate of Compliance No. 9254 for the Model No. 40G-A package expired on April 1,1999.
Accordingly, use of the package under the General License provisions of Subpart C of 10 CFR
.Part 71 or under the provisions of 49 CFR 173.471 is terminated.
In accordance with the provisions of 10 CF A 71.52, this package was previously authorized to transport Low Specific Activity (LSA) r +dic,zdive material. However, Section 71.52 expired on April 1,1999; consequently, the cettificate cannot be renewed. LSA packages and their use are now regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).
