50/395 UNIT V. C. SUMMER I DATE 4/01/87 COMPLETED BY G. A. LOIGNON TELEPHONE (803) 345-5209 MARCH 1987 On March 1, 1987, the V. C. Summer Nuclear Station continued to operate at approximately 92% power due to the removal of 'B' Main Feedwater Pump from service on February 24, 1987.
On March 6, 1987, at 0100, a reactor shutdown commenced for the third refueling outage. The plant was held at 60% power to flush oil from the secondary side.

On March 31, 1987, the reactor remained shutdown.
