CONFIRMATION OF ACTION LETTER This is to confirm the conversation between Mr. Robert L. Barnett, Barnett Industrial X-Ray, Inc. and Mr. Charles L. Cain, USWRC, Region IV on November 3, 1988.

Based on this conversation, it i:i my understanding that Robert L. Barnett is taking the following actions:

1.

Promptly retrieve all licensed material from toyd D. Barnett and return it to safe storage in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

2.

Maintain positive control and s_afe storagt of all licensed material until further authorized by the NRC.

3.

Do not use or allow the use of any licensed material in areas under NRC jurisdiction until authorized by the NRC in writing. Do not use or allow the use of any licensed material under the authorization of your State of Kansas license without first contacting the Kansas Bureau of Radiation Control.

Issuance of this Confirmation of Action Letter does not preclude the issuance of an order formalizing the above commitment.
