DOCKET NUMBER 50-483 CALLAWAY PLANT REVISION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 5.3.1 Union Electric Company herewith transmits an application for amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-30 for Callaway Plant.
This license amendment request proposes to revise Technical Specification 5.3.1,
" Fuel Assemblies", to allow for the replacement of fuel rods with filler rods or for vacancies if such replacement is acceptable based on the results of the cycle-specific reload analysis.
It is requested that this amendment request be approved prior to the refueling outage currently scheduled to begin September 11, 1987.
This would allow for the possible recon-stitution of fuel assemblies during this outage.
Enclosed is a check for the $150.00 application fee as required by 10CFR170.21.
