STAFF REQUIREMENTS - DI CUSSION OF PHASE II REVERIFICATION PROGRAM R(DIABLOCANYON, 2:00 P.M., WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 20, 1982, COMMISSIONERS' CONFERENCE ROOM, D.C. OFFICE (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE)

The Commission was briefed by the staff on the Phase II Reverification Program for Diablo Canyon. Bill Cooper of Teledyne and Morris Reich of Brookhaven National Laboratory provided comments on the progress of the Program.

The Commission took no action and made no requests of the staff, but noted that a meeting would be scheduled in order to hear comments from the other parties on the Reverification Program.

(Subsequently, a meeting was scheduled on November 10 1982.)

by a "majority vote of the members present." Comunissioner j Roberts was not present when this item was affirmed, but he had previously indicated that he would approve. Had he been present, he would have affirmed his prior vote. Accordingly, I
