Dear Mr. Kelly:
This transmits the results of the building radiation survey I performed on March 24,1999 at the Platina Refining Laboratories facility, located at 4301 South Clinton Avenue, South Plainfield, New Jersey. The license file was identified by our contractor, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, for additional NRC review and followup after the license was terminated in 1991.
Results of the survey (enclosed) indicate that no residual radioactivity was found and the facility meets the NRC guidelines for unrestricted use. No further NRC action will be taken and the file is considered closed.
