Proposed Changes to Generic Fundamentals Examination Dates
Dear Mr. Davis:
We received your March 17,1999, letter propcsing that the NRC conduct three vice two generic fundamental examination (GFE) administrations per year. We are currently reviewing your recommendation to offer the GFE in the months of February, June, and October to determine if the change would improve NRC and facility schedule flexibility.
We appreciate your efforts to survey the industry to identify GFE scheduling concerns. We will keep you informed on any changes to our program.
