A routine, ar: anced, safety inspection of your emergency preparedness prog.am
was conductea by Mr. C. Amato of this office on August 29, 1988 at the Lowell
Nuclear Reactor Facility, North Campus. Lowell, Massachusetts.
Discussions of
our findings were held by Mr. Amato with you and other members of your staff at
the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I inspection
report which is enclosed. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews
with personnel and observations of the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified. No reply
to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter is
