DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 CRACKED GEARS IN VALVE OPERATORS SOAR:

CP-87-103 (SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT)

Gentlemen:

On January 21, 1988, TV Electric letter logged TXX-88020 notified the NRC staff of a deficiency involving cracked gears in valve operators. Our last report was logged TXX-88611 dated August 10, 1588. This supplemental report is submitted to revise the corrective action implementation schedule for this issue.

The estimated completion date for implementation of the Unit I corrective action (stated in TXX-88020) has been rescheduled to March 17, 1989.

The schedule for Unit 2 remains unchaqged.
