Docket No. 50-482: Access Authorizatio.4 The purpose of this letter is to document Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation's understanding of the NRC's concerns relative to access authorization at Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCCS) and to provide a description of Wolf Creek's current program for controlling Vital Area Access. The attached Safeguards docurnent provides a chronology of past communications with Region IV relative to the question of Vital Area ac:ess control and doeurnents the current Wolf Creek program used to satisfy the regulatory requirements. As discussed between Mr. Isangart of your staf f and Mr. Rhodes of my staf f, Wolf Creek would support a meeting on this subject if the attached information is not suf ficient to satisfy the NRC's questions on this matter.
