Draft Environmental Statment related to the operation of South Texas Project, Units 1 and 2 (March 1986).
'Ihe Draft Environmental Statment on the proposed operation of South Texas Project, Units 1 and 2, has been reviewed by the Environmental Office in the Fort Worth Regional Office of the Department of Housing and Urban Develognent (DHUD).
While it has been determined that the DHUD will have no omment on the Draft Statment as the undertaking and its inpact do not appear to environmentally affect any of our programs, we do wish to inquire if any consideration was given to utilizing the waste steam / energy for a nearby city or industry. We feel energy in any useful form should not be wasted.
