Changes to Procedures On 16 Sep 88 the Reactor Safeguards Committee approved revisions in the following procedurcs:
IIazards Summary Report Section 7.0:
This was a change in the logging requirements for scrams and equipment malfunctions.
Now only unintentional scrams and operational malfunctions of essential equipment mu't be logged in red ink.
Reactor Facility Operations Manual:
One revision reflected the above cited revision in the IIazards Summary Report.
A second revision permits the Reactor Supervisor a make temporary changes in procedures, subject to review and approval by the Reactor Safeguards Committee.
Procedurc No.1 "Biennial Control Rod Inspection:"
The revision omitted reference to a previously canceled Experiment.
These revisions were instituted at the request of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Region IV, Docket 50-188/88-01).
In their approval, the Reactor Safeguards Committee found that their implementat:on involved no unreviewed safety qucstions and posed no risk to the safety of personnel or the integrity of the reactor.
