TASK ORDER NO. 7 MODIFICATION NO. 4 ENTITLED " SNAP NODALIZATION KNOWLEDGE-BASED EXPERT SYSTEM" UNDER CONTRACT NO. NRC 97-046 In accordance with Section G.4, Task Order Procedures, of the subject contract, this letter definitizes Task Order No. 7 Modification No. 4. This effort shall be performed in accordance with the enclosed Statement of Work for Mod 4 (Tasks 10,11 and 12).

The period of performance for Task Order No. 7 is changed to run from January 14,1998 through March 31,2000. The total estimated cost for fu!! performance of this task order is increased by $132,156 from $154,089 to $286,245. Funds obligated on this task order are increased by $53,000 from $154,089 to $207,089. The Contractor shall not incur costs for this task order which exceed the cumulative obligated amount of $207,089. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

WORK REQUIREMENTS Task 10: Software Design and implementation Document I A chapter in the SNAP Design Document shall be prepared describing in detail the manner in which the requirements will be fulfilled. The code (s) for which the system will be developed will be decided by NRC before the work begins.

Task 12: Documentation Chapters for the SNAP User's Guide and Programmer Appendix shall be prepared and submitted to NRC in both text and electronic format if directed by the NRC.

Estimated Completion Date: 13 months after initiation of the modification Estimated Level of Effort: 1 s/m MEETINGS AND TRAVEL For successful completion of the work required in this contract, it is anticipated that the contractor shall travel to the NRC office in Rockville, MD. The contractor may propose additional travel deemed necessary for the successful completion of this effort. All travel shall be approved in advance by the Project Manager, be specifically performed in support of.this contract ans be in compliance with Federal Transportation Regulations.
