. ikwver, considering that the initial telephono survey results were inadequato arxl the latest telephone survey results are marginal at best, FINA still cannot conclude that the Ft. St. Vrain ANS is adequate to provido pronpt alerting and notification to the public in the event of an emergency at the site.
Notwithstaniing tho above finding, it is anticipatal that the installation of the siron in Plattovillo, Colorado, will significantly.
increase the alerting capability of the Ft. St. Vrain ANS and alculd improve the offoctivonoss of the systen to an acceptablo level. As soon as the improvanonts are installed and evaluated, a third telephone survey will be corx!ucted, arx1 an uplated firwiing will bo sutznitted to the NRC.
The caveat on the adequacy of tho alert and rotification systan contained in the 44 CFR 350 approval dated January 29, 1982, will ranain' in ef fect portling conpletion of the next telephono survey.
