Dear Mr. Sinclair:
SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT - NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARCE ELIMINATION SYSTEM PERMIT NO. TN0026450 - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO SUPPORT RENEWAL APPLICATION Enclosed are two copies of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) form 3510-2C for outfall 116, condenser cooling water intake trash sluice; and outfall 117, essential raw cooling water screen and strainer backwash. These forms are complete except for data on total residual chlorine (TRC). These discharges wers sampled during August, but because of intake water quality problems (high manganese concentrations due to the drought), reliable data on TRC was not obtained. We ar,e resampling these waste streams for TRC and will forward the results as soon as possible. Also enclosed are two copies of EPA form 3510-2E for outfalls 111 and 112, sewage treatment plant effluents.
