This letter provides formal notification that a copy of the Beaver Valley Power Station Unit No. 2 (BVPS-2) Fire Protection Safe Shutdown Report (FPSSR) has been transmitted to the NRC.
This copy of the FPSSR was transmitted on January 30, 1987, under separate cover to Mr. Peter Tam, NRC Project Manager f or BVPS-2.
A copy of the report was also transmitted on the same date under separate cover to Mr.

Storey of Franklin Resear ch.
A meeting between Duquesne Light Company and NRC representatives was held on February 24, 1987, at the NRC of fices in Bethesda, Mary'ind, to f acilitate the NRC's review of the r epo r t.
