This responds to your October 3,1985, letter requesting a date as to when additional information on the ORNL HEIR spent. fuel, element shipping package (Docket No. 71-5507) will be provided to NP,C.'
As a result of the October 22, 1985, meeting with Henry Lee; and Bill Lake of your office, we estimate that the additional information can be. provided prior to April 3, 1986.
In addition, responses to NRC questions 'o'n the ORNL Tungsten Shielded Cask (Docket No. 71-5597) will be provided prior to December 15, 1985.
The October 22 meeting was extremely helpful and we a'ppreciate your assistance in setting it up.
Please pass on our thanks to Bill and Henry for taking the time to discuss NRC's concerns and needs with Bill Pryor and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory representatives.
