ISSUES NEW ENGLAND COALITION ON NUCLEAR POLLUTION'S RESPONSE TO NRC STAFF INTERROGATORIES The New England Coalition on Nuclear Pollution submits the following answers to the NRC Staff's interrogatories of August 8, 1986.

We note that some of these answers are incomplete because we have not yet received or reviewed any responses to inter-rogatories to Applicants and the NRC staff, and because our ex-pert consultant is unavailable until September.

We will supple-ment our answers to the interrogatories promptly if and when we receive any new and relevant information.

At this time, NECNP does not plan to offer any direct testimony on Contentions NH-20 or NECNP III.l.

2)

At this time, NECNP does not intend to cross-examine any witnesses on Contentions NH-20 or NECNP III.l.

1)

NECNP does not know whether it will be offering any direct testimony on Contention I.B.2 because it has not yet a

received the documents or answers to interrogatories that will allow it to determine whether to submit testimony, or the specific subjects on which to submit testimony.
