CORRECTION OF BOARD NOTIFICATION NUMBER The March 13, 1987 Board Notification Regarding Environmental Qualification of Coaxial Cables Associated With In-Containment Radiation Detection Equipment was issued with the wrong Board Notification number.
Enclosed is a corrected copy of the Board Notification bearing the correct number of BN 87-04.
Please replace the original memorandum with the corrected copy.

In accordance with the NRC procedures for Board Notifications, the following document is provided for information for the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board:
Letter from V. Nerses, (NRC) to R. J. Harrison (PSNH),
" Request for Information Recarding Problems of In-Containment Radiation Detection Signal Coaxial Cables,"
dated March 11, 1987.
The letter requests the licensee to provide information as to the corrective action they are taking to resolve a problem pertaining to coaxial cables.
It appears these cables are associated with equipment which was specifically addressed in the applicant's and staff's testimony with respect to the environmental qualification contention and may have some bearing on the Board's delibrations.
