Dear Mr. Rathbun:
I have enclosed correspondence from my constituent, Ms. Sandra Burke, regarding her husband Patrick Burke. Mr. Patrick Burke formerly worked for the Millstone Nuclear Power Plant m i
Connecticut and was laid offin January of 1996 after serving Millstone for 12 years.
According to Ms. Burke, Millstone has begun to rehire former employees. She indicates her husband has applied for four positions, but has not even received a response. So that I can effectively respond to my constituent, would you please make sure that the appropriate official within our agency addresses Ms. Burke's concerns. Thank you for your attention to this matter and I look forward to receiving a response at your earliest convenience.
With kind regards, I am S

I am sending you this letter because you seem to be concerned about this matter and I'm hoping you can get the answers that we seem unable to get. All my husband wants is a full day's pay for a full day's work so that he can support our family and live close to home instead of being a Nuclear Contractor working at power plants all over the country.
Any help you can provide to us in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
