Haddam Neck Plant FSAR Update Milestones In October,1985,(I) Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPCO) provided the Staff with a schedular plan f_qr the update of the FSAR, which was accepted by the Staff in November,1985W. Included in the plan were schedule milestones for submittal of certain documents, related to the FSAR update process, to the NRC.
l The purpose of this letter is to provide the documents required by the Staff in l
fulfillment of the March 31, 1987 milestone. Pursuant to 10CFR50.71(e) and 10CFR50.4(b)(6), this transmittal consists of one original and ten (10) copies of I
the FSAR Chapters listed below.

With respect to the above chapters, there may be some additional editing and changes to ensure overall document consistency but each of the attached chapters is complete in all substantive respects. The balance of the FSAR chapters will be submitted on or before June 30,1987.
We continue to work toward an update that contains more detail than that which would result from the effort for compliance with 10CFR50.71, and we trust that the Staff will find each submittal fully responsive to our commitments and the terms of the exemptions.
