May 1986 NGHBeIIVE_SutteBLQE_QEEBGIING_EXEEBIENCES At the beginning of the month, power was steady at 97.3% using MDFP's P-2:
and B.
P-2C (TDMFP) had been removed from service on 4/27/86 due to a discharge pressure controller problem.
Power remained at 97.3% until 28 May.
On 28 May, a power reduction was commenced due to a steam / water leak on P-2A discharge bypass valve line.
54% power was reached and maintained.
On 29 May, P-2C was returned to service in governor control mode.
On 29 May, power was increased to 75% and maintained for turbine valve testing, south header mussel control, repairs to "A"
TWS, and extraction steam and non-return valve testing.
On 30 May, power was increased to 79% and held there for mussel control a-the north header.
i On 31 May, power was initially increased to 96.5% then reduced to 90.3%
while the HD-A-180 electronic controller was replaced.
l At the end of the month, power was at 97.4% and increasing.
