Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority 50-328 TVA EMPLOYEE CONCERNS PROGRAM INFORMATION AND SCHEDULE REGARDING SEQUOYAl NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN)

In a July 24, 1986 telephone conversation between B. J. Youngblood of your staff and me, we discussed NRC's need for TVA submittal of a schedule to support your review of the SQN employee concerns. We have developed a tentative near-term milestone schedule as follows:

August 5, 1986 -

Submit a draft of Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Employee Concern Task Group (ECTG) program description and implementing procedures.

This will be hand-delivered to your staff during their August 4-5, 1986 visit to SQN.

August 12, 1986 -

Receive comments / input on the draft program description from your staff.

August 19, 1986 -

Submit final program description and implementing procedure formally to NRC.

August 19-26, 1986 - Begin to formally submit the first reports containing SQN employee concerns related to SQN startup.

August 26, 1986 -

TVA is ready for the Employee Concerns Program inspection.

This schedule will be amplified to provide specific submittal dates for individual SQN reports by August 19, 1986.

Please use this overall schedule for your planning of SQN Employee Concerns Program review.

We will notify Mr. Youngblood of any subsequent changes to this schedule.

Please get in touch with R. F. Campbell at FTS 858-4892, if you require further information in this matter.
